Affordable Housing Scheme

We are making quality and affordable living possible for the underserved while also putting smiles on the faces of people that ordinarily do not perceive themselves as homeowners.

Through the housing scheme, the platform will make quality and affordable accommodation possible for the deserving, but underserved citizens, thereby putting smiles on their faces under flexible and effortless terms.

Personal Ownership Scheme: This scheme allows individuals to own their private homes in different locations.

Advantages of owners housing scheme are as follows:

  • The total cost of and payment for properties under this scheme are guaranteed to be comparatively 50% less the ongoing market prices.
  • The subscriber decides and chooses the flexible payment plan option.
  • The subscriber gets living access to the property only after paying 50% of the affordable total price.
  • Full payment can be spread over a period of five years conveniently.
  • The subscriber also enjoys discounts on all products and services available to members on the platform ranging from – Affordable Healthcare, Education for your children, business development and financing, affordable market offline and online etc.
  • All subscribers get to enjoy living in their choice locations as available on the Platform.
  • Subscribers enjoy access to 24/7 electricity services, water, gas, internet infrastructure and other social amenities.

  1. Property Investment Scheme: We have an investment scheme for people who will be interested in our affordable housing scheming but for one reason or the other are not available to live where the properties are located but wants to earn a living from it.
  2. Property Rentals: The scheme also will be willing to assist people or families that are staying within a location temporarily for rental accommodation affordably with high level maintenance system to make their living affordable.
  3. Property Sales Scheme: The platform will set the conditions and be fully involved in all property sales and resale within the scheme and will structure all administrative and legal framework that will service the transaction to ensure retention of the concepts of quality and affordability.

How the Housing Scheme works?

The platform will use the strategy of pooled financial resources as a revolving loan to provide affordable housing for members and the general public.

The platform will embark on housing project development across different locations to help members own their own homes in a dynamic and easy to access housing scheme.

Qualification for Housing Scheme:

To qualify for the housing scheme a co-owner/member must meet the following requirements:

  1. He or she must be a financial contributor to the scheme
  2. Must have completed and submitted a formal request form indicating choice of house type he or she is interested in.
  3. Must have contributed 50% of the total cost of chosing house-type before completion to be given access to the property.
  4. Must indicate and conform to the payment schedule option subscribed to.
  5. Must be willing to fully submit to the Terms and Conditions of the management of the estate.

PROCEDURE for subscribing to the Housing Scheme

  • Upon choosing the house type, an account is created for the subscriber with a corresponding virtual office.
  • In the virtual office, the subscriber can monitor from start to finish all the processes to be followed from payments made through the construction process.

The system is programmed to inform the subscriber of the due date for taking possession of the property following the payment procedure or option chosen.

  • Subscribers are encouraged to start making payments into the system with a flexible plan of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, intermittent or one off payment.
  • Although the subscriber is paying for a particular house type; all payments made for the property are also recorded on the platform as equity investment or share in the scheme provided the subscriber remains a member of the platform.
  • Therefore on yearly basis dividends will be paid to the subscriber/ contributor as long as he has not been allocated a house before December 31st of the closing year.
  • All payments to the housing scheme are non-refundable; the subscriber will only be encouraged to complete the payment plan and transfer ownership and/or sell only on the platform or through the platform at a price not more than 25% on the cost of the house in order not to defeat the principle and purpose of affordability.
  • Transfer of ownership on this platform can only be done once, any other attempts will automatically expel the owner and return ownership of the property to the platform at the initial cost of sale of the house if it is within one of ownership. However, any property falling into this predicament after one year of its first sale, shall be returned to the Platform at a discounted rate based on the diminishing value of the property.
  • Subscribers for houses must be willing and ready to maintain the mandatory requirement of quality and affordability status of the properties

Affordable Healthcare Scheme:
a) The Platform shall provide affordable health care services for all at the primary healthcare level.
b) A healthcare financing scheme for the community.
c) The platform shall ensure delivery of basic health care services in existing facilities to subscribers to the scheme.
d) The healthcare facilities shall be managed by the platform.

How the Healthcare Scheme works?

The healthcare system will run on private equity basis. It is a model that combines crowd funding and possibly grants for the provision of healthcare services for a community of people. It shall Provide quality primary healthcare services from an affordable/subsidized private sector perspective through the construction and setting up of healthcare boots in different locations resulting in decentralized access to individuals and families that have subscribed to basic forms of care thereby reducing pressure on the secondary healthcare facilities.

  How to subscribe to the Services on the Platform?

  1. Register as a member of the platform.
  2. Subscribe to the Platform’s affordable health Insurance scheme.
  3. You are assigned a unique hospital ID card for the purpose of enjoying the services from any of our Health Care facilities nationwide.
  4. Opt to cover the cost with either Insurance policy or personally finance the health services.

Financial /Members loan Scheme
a) A Members’ loan Scheme shall be established within the Platform.
b) The loan shall be based on qualified projects
c) Co-owners shall be qualified access to obtain loans from the Platform
d) All loan beneficiaries shall be required to comply with the greed terms of repayment.

 

Compulsory Saving Scheme
a) Co-owners shall be required to participate in this Saving Scheme
b) Interests accruable from the savings shall be paid periodically in accordance with the amount saved by each participant.
c) Participating co-owners are permitted to give standing instructions to the effect that their accrued interests be plowed-back or re-invested rather than paid out.

 

Affordable Education scheme
a) The Platform shall establish schools with facilities that the enhance learning experience by students at all levels of education.
b) The Platform shall provide an acceptable standard of equipments, learning tools and facilities that can stand a global peer-review test in education.
c) The Platform shall adopt fees that are not prohibitive while ensuring high quality in education delivery.
d) The Platform shall sustain the continuous training of teachers with modern teaching tools that will promote the teaching profession.

a) The Platform shall establish a chain of mega-markets that sell at prices that are affordable to all families and in consonance with the consumer price index.
b) The mega-markets shall stock local food items, goods and services in order to encourage local production and processing of food items.
c) The mega-markets shall maintain a database of accredited service providers and shall serve as a reference point to such service providers.
d) The mega-markets shall import only items that are not locally available.

 

Agriculture
a) The Platform shall take measures to promote agriculture at all levels through financing qualified agricultural ventures.
b) The Platform shall encourage formation of specialised Agricultural cooperatives.
c) The Platform shall encourage cluster agricultural projects and industries.
d) The Platform’s mega-markets shall be the major buyers of agricultural products for sale to the general public.
e) The Platform shall ensure compliance with accepted standards of agricultural production as required.
